Final Assessment

Dear Stav,
Your work is always a pleasure to read even though you could do so much better. You really need to take care with capital letters and punctuation! A few pictures would have added to the BLOG as well.
Your final grade is 85.
Yours,
Karen Noll Stanger

The Diary

Dear Diary,
I am afraid of what i have to do tomorrow. I am going to steal a magical golden crown from a dragon who would kill someone who would take an qouta of gold from his lair.
Even if i have the magic potion that Orielle gave me, I still dont think that i could take on the dragon. Even if everybody is counting on me, I still dont think that i can do this. I will have to use every bit of power in me or else i will die, and for real this time. I will just have to wait for tomorrow.

Yours Truly,
Gellasano

The Ending

The dragon was coming closer to the castle, so I ran out to the courtyard and it started to breath fire on the castle walls. I saw men running around on fire, screaming from the intense heat. Multiple fires started all around the castle as i watched the dragon grasp a men and throwing him at me. I moved fast enough to avoid him, but tripped an fell on the ground. the dragon came for me and graped me and the last thing I saw was the dragons massive teeth clamp over me. I awoke in the farm that I "lived" in and started to feel disoriented and dizzy. It was like fireworks were exploding in my head. I guess this is the overloading Norman was talking about. I closed my eyes, and i died for real this time.

The Plot

The plot of the story is quite complicated. it starts out as the main character finds out (in the game) that she is the king's heir. She faces lots of struggles against her royal kin (who vie for power), treacherous guards, barbarians, and rebel peasants. She dies alot of times in the first part of the book but then starts to progess when she gets a magic ring that her father left her, makes new laws that surpesses the rebels, and makes a truth with the barbarians. The deal is that if the barbarians do not attack, then the main character must go out to get a magic crown from a dragon. in the end she does, she is crowned king, and wins the game.

The Setting

The Setting takes place in a fictional medieval world.

It first takes place in a peasant village, but later takes place in a medieval castle. Its a big castle, with dozens of rooms, but the main character is usually in the great hall, which is like a cathedral, except that instead the benches are sideways and the place where the altar is supposed to be is replaced by two thrones. The three most important places are the castle (which I explained right now), the wizard's house, which the main character needs to go to get a magical object that will help her later in the story, and the dragon's lair, which she also needs to go to get another magical object.

The Main Character

The Main Character is named Giannine Bellisario.

She has brown hair, green eyes, a skinny but normal sized body, and a sweet face. She is a sarcastic yet sophisticated girl, that enjoys a good game and challenge, and knows how to get past obstacles. She is first rejected by the other characters, but after a while they start to appreciate and respect her because of her actions and her way of solving problems.

The Author

The Author's name is Vivian Vande Velde.

She is 58 years old, She learned at Rochester, New York, (also her place of birth) and she still living there, and she got her inspiration when her father encouraged her to be a writer because he loved the stories that she wrote. her books are mostly fantasy for young adults and older teenagers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivian_Vande_Velde
